Lori Sinanyan is a Partner at Foundation Law Group LLP focusing on corporate transactions, strategically pairing such expertise with broad multi-discipline experience.

Lori focuses on a wide variety of transactional matters and commercial contracts, day-to-day operational management, corporate governance, risk management and M&A transactions. In addition, she routinely has advised on financings, general employment-related matters, litigation management, insurance coverage and crisis management/PR.

Lori’s clients are in diverse fields ranging from IT/Cloud and personal care product manufacturing companies to high-net worth individuals to a Hollywood landmark movie theater.

Lori spent 16 years in preeminent global law firms as a restructuring attorney working on some of the biggest bankruptcies and restructurings in the US. Lori transitioned to serving as general counsel for a film and media client where she served for 2 years until, as GC and COO, she managed the sale of the company to an investor group. Transitioning to general counsel of a beauty company, she oversaw a private equity buy out of one of the founders. She used these experiences to develop a niche practice of serving as an on-demand general counsel to clients who need a general counsel but on a part-time basis. Her solution-oriented and pragmatic business perspective in counseling companies has made her invaluable to C-suite executives and finance and legal teams, as she provides legal and business analysis to resolve all matters in a coordinated and efficient manner.

Before joining Foundation Law Group, Lori served as general counsel for several companies and prior to that was Of Counsel at Jones Day, Partner at Kirkland & Ellis and Associate at Morgan Lewis & Bockius.

Lori is a Board Member of CrowdVentures. Having moved with her family to Armenia in 2020, Lori continues her US practice, serves as general counsel for a Singapore-based company with operations in Armenia, and is focused on serving as bridge between Armenia’s burgeoning tech sector and the US.

Lori is admitted to practice in California.

Lori received her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California’s law school in 2000 and her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1997.
