Lori Sinanyan is a Partner at Foundation Law Group LLP and a senior legal executive specializing in fractional general counsel services, corporate transactions, private equity and strategic risk management.
Lori brings over 25 years of experience advising founders, CEOs and boards on complex legal, operational and governance matters that directly support business growth and resilience. Her solution-oriented and pragmatic business perspective in counseling companies has made her invaluable to C-suite executives and finance and legal teams, as she provides legal and business analysis to resolve all matters in a coordinated and efficient manner.
Lori’s practice spans strategic transactions, equity and certain debt financings, corporate governance, commercial contracts, crisis management, compliance and enterprise risk mitigation. She works with a diverse range of clients, including technology companies, consumer brands, high-net-worth investors and legacy institutions.
Before joining Foundation Law Group, Lori built a niche as an on-demand general counsel, providing part-time executive legal leadership to companies that need C-suite-level legal strategy without full-time overhead. She previously served as General Counsel and functional COO for operating companies, where she led strategic reorganizations, negotiated major commercial deals, and managed the legal aspects of corporate sales and private equity transactions.
Earlier in her career, Lori served as Of Counsel at Jones Day, Partner at Kirkland & Ellis, and Associate at Morgan Lewis & Bockius, spending 16 years at as a restructuring and distressed transactions attorney, representing clients in some of the largest bankruptcies and restructurings in the U.S.
Lori continues to practice in the U.S. while living in Armenia, and serves as general counsel to international clients, including a company headquartered in Singapore with operations in UAE, Philippines, and Armenia. She is admitted to practice in California and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
