Stephanie Sterling is a Senior Paralegal at Foundation Law Group LLP.
Stephanie has worked in the Orange County legal community since the mid-1980s with a focus on corporate and business entity matters, mergers and acquisitions, securities and real estate. She began her career as a paralegal in the Orange County office of a Los Angeles-based law firm that later became the Orange County presence of McDermott, Will & Emery. In 1999 she was recruited to join Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP’s Orange County office to build a corporate paralegal department.
Stephanie has worked on public and private offerings, private equity and venture capital financings, mergers and roll-ups of multiple companies, stock purchases and sales, asset and real property acquisitions, and corporate and contract matters, all in a wide range of industries and sizes of companies, including health care providers and hospitals, residential home builders, computer and software companies, biotechnology, restaurant chains, and professional sports teams.
Stephanie has also been adjunct faculty at Coastline Community College in their ABA certified paralegal certificate program as well serving on their Advisory Board for their paralegal program for 16 years.
Stephanie started college off as a music major, but after coming to the realization that she may very well end up a starving musician, diverted her education to law and business and ended up with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Paralegal Certificate from the University of California, Irvine Extension.
